MEET THE TEAM

  • Bridget Huffman

    INTERIOR DESIGNER

Bridget is fascinated with design and all things creative. Growing up in Aspen, CO with an artist turned realtor mom, she had the opportunity to visit some incredible examples of architecture and interior design. She credits these early experiences as the catalyst for her love of design and is what helped her realize the artful impact spaces can hold.

Bridget attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received degrees in Studio Arts and Art History. After graduating, Bridget chased her love of design to the University of Texas at Austin where she received a certificate in Architecture. Bridget’s keen eye and extreme attention to detail led her to become a fashion buyer for a multi-outlet retail company. She continued work in the fashion and textiles industry for 13 years as a buyer, merchandiser and store owner. As Bridget developed her career in fashion she never lost sight of her passion for interior design and was able to bring those experiences full circle by joining Highline Design Studio in 2021.

Bridget’s personal style is defined by the use of natural materials and layered textures. She is especially compelled by the juxtaposition of styles and materials and loves to combine timeless classics with more modern references. Bridget’s approach to design emphasizes quality over quantity and aims to support local makers whenever possible. She prefers not to approach a project with any style in mind. Instead, she listens to the needs, aesthetic, and lifestyle of the client to tailor a distinct design that is specific to them. This approach merges form with function and leads to a space that’s not only unique but one that feels effortless, lived-in and enduring.

When Bridget’s not designing spaces or sourcing for clients she is doing so for her own home. Their newly designed kitchen in Burlington’s Old North End is a staple gathering location for friends and family. She loves spending time on the lake or in the mountains with her husband Matt and adored dog Rodney.

  • Jess Riina

    ASSISTANT DESIGNER

Jess’s appreciation for creating beautiful and functional interiors was formed at an early age as the daughter of a Custom Home Builder and a Graphic Designer. After earning her degree in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, she moved to Newport Beach, CA, where she worked as an event planner for large commercial real estate brokerages.  In 2006, Jess returned to her home state of Vermont where she became a licensed Realtor and met her husband, Nick.

While raising their three boys, Jess completed several renovations and home improvement projects in the family home which led to helping friends and clients of her own.  Her natural talents and passion gave way to her joining the team at Highline Design Studio in 2023.

Jess loves to mix old with new and gravitates towards timeless and inviting spaces that have a classic elegance to them.  When not in the office or at clients, you can find Jess cheering on her boys along the sidelines, snowboarding at the mountain or enjoying the waters of Lake Champlain.
